THE SHAMROCK CLASSIC
Play Ireland. Experience Tenerife. Escape the Weather. Chase the Trophy.
For more than three decades, Irish golfers have been an integral part of Golf del Surโs history, making it one of their favorite golf getaways. Their loyalty, friendship, and passion for the game have shaped our club's story. The Shamrock Classic has been created to celebrate and strengthen that special connection, welcoming both returning players and new visitors to experience the very best our destination has to offer.
Taking place from 14th to 16th May 2027, this exclusive three-day golfing festival combines outstanding competition with warm Canarian hospitality. The schedule includes a practice round followed by two tournament rounds, exciting social activities, and a spectacular Gala Dinner and Prize Presentationโcreating the perfect balance of competitive spirit, relaxation, and lifelong memories.
The event is also the ideal opportunity to discover the exciting transformation of Golf del Sur. Significant investments are enhancing every aspect of the course, designed to offer an even higher standard of play while preserving the unique character and volcanic heritage that have made it one of the Canary Islands' most beloved golf venues.
Whether you are travelling with your golf society, a group of friends, or looking for the perfect golf getaway as a couple, the Shamrock Classic promises exceptional golf, fantastic weather, spectacular scenery, and the warm welcome that keeps golfers returning year after year.
